Week
of
June
6,
2022
This
week,
we
continued
learning
about
community
helpers
in
class.
We
read
books
about
different
jobs
and
watched
some
video
clips
on
Pebble
Go
that
described
the
work
that
people
do.
We
are
getting
excited
for
our
Kindergarten
Career
Day
on
Friday!
If
your
child
has
not
returned
their
homework
assignment
about
careers,
please
do
so
by
this
coming
Friday,
June
10th.
In
Math,
we
continued
our
unit
of
study
on
surveys
and
data.
Each
student
created
his/her
own
survey
question
and
asked
classmates
to
respond
either
yes
or
no
to
their
question.
We
then
used
tally
marks
to
keep
track
of
the
data
collection.
As
the
end
of
Kindergarten
approaches,
we
continued
our
ABC
Countdown
activities
in
class.
This
week,
we
focused
on
drinking
Sprite
with
Straws,
playing
Team
games
at
school,
working
Under
our
tables,
taking
a
Virtual
field
trip
to
Washington
DC
and
the
GA
Aquarium,
and
Watching
the
movie
Mary
Poppins.
Just
a
reminder
that
our
Kindergarten
End-of-the-Year
Celebration
will
take
place
on
Monday,
June
13th
from
9:30-11:00.
The
last
day
of
school
will
be
on
Wednesday,
June
15th
with
an
early
dismissal
at
12:15.
I
simply
cannot
believe
the
year
is
almost
over!!
We
are
almost
ready
for
first
grade.
Have
a
wonderful
week!!!
